Please follow the guide to register Apeaksoft Video Editor:
Step 1. Download Zip package from GOTD.
Step 2. Unzip the Package and run setup.exe to install it.
Step 3. Select the disc type to enter the main interface. In the popup window, click "Get Free Registration Code" button to visit the registration page, where input your username and email address to receive the registration code for free.
Step 4. Back to the software interface, click “Register” button and paste received registration code under “Registration Code” to register it successfully.
Note: Check Junk or Spam email if you can't find the free registration code.

How does this compare to something like Avidemux? Just curious

Tried to fix a video in which my brightness and contrast varied badly during the video. This software applied the changes to the whole video so the output video was still poor. The overexposed were fixed but the other parts were now underexposed or vice versa.

I keep getting a "registration failed " message. In the license name I have tried putting my name and my email address and neither worked. I even tried putting in my email address with a random period in the gmail prefix but that didn't work either. Do I need to put the product name in the license name? I have no clue why it isn't working. I got the code from the given site :

Apeaksoft Studio, Hello it is possible that i have some other progarm from apeaksoft but i'm not sure. But for this version VideoEditor 1.1022 i'm sure i have the program in this computer only.
I don't have the situation anymore because the e-mail trick to add a dot in e-mail address fixed this problem.

I noticed that in order for registration to work you must use a different email address for each free software you've received from Apeaksost.

Leland, that appears to be partially true. If you have a gmail account, you can circumvent the restriction easily.
Simply add a period anywhere in your email prefix (example instead of leland@gmail.com use l.eland@gmail.com) and Apeaksoft will think it is different but the info still comes to your gmail account.
