The best italian wine are protected by laws and their name is D.O.P. wines (Protected Origin Denomination). There are two types of DOP: DOCG and DOC. DOCG wines are top quality.

Winemapp allows you to explore all the DOP wines of Italy through an interactive map with which to discover areas of production of wines, types and vines, as defined in the production specifications.
Wherever you are in Italy you can find out which local wine to drink and which wineries to visit.
Winemapp is able to geo-localize and give you information about the DOP of the area in which you are.
It is also possible to search for DOCG, DOC, grape variety, type and municipality, also clicking on the map.
