About this app

This app can act as a rainfall chart to use with your rain gauge. You can also use it to record other daily or monthly data values such as sales, body weight, temperature, etc. It allows you to set up a number of different parameters that you want to record, and then easily enter numeric values each day or month. You can also import data from and export data to comma delimited (CSV) text files.

Once you have recorded data, you can view it in tabular, calendar, or graphical form. Data can be viewed for a given month, year, or all years. The graph can display the data as a line or bar chart, and a linear trend line can optionally be shown over the top.

See also Custom Data Recorder: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=binaryearth.customdatarecorder

Note: When importing from a CSV file, the format should be the same as the files the app exports.

App has several areas that need to be improved. Newly created categories do not readily appear. Device has to be restarted, app appears to be persistent. Single value, though is cumulative, per day. For recording / displaying results should be able to define x number of data points in given period. Was hoping to use app to get visual display of data off of a fluke meter as well as blood pressure. Nope. One entry/day. Will just have to go back to clumsy interface of office spreadsheet app.

Not very user friendly. UI needs a lot of work. Does what it says it does. If you need to keep data, I recommend a spreadsheet. It's much easier to enter values.

Functionality is really limited. Not worth paying for sadly. You cant log multiple entries a day they either need to total up or replace each other which really limits the use cases.

The app was designed to be simple to use for recording things which have either a single value per day or a single value per month (rainfall, monthly sales, etc). For a much more general logging app, which is not limited to one entry per day, try Custom Data Recorder. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=binaryearth.customdatarecorder
